DAY 1

What a great tapping session today!!! Thank you so much to those of you who joined live and for those of you who haven't seen it yet, you can catch the replay here.

It was a powerful session of going from feeling like "I'm not enough" to "I have more than enough." At the end of the sesh, I shared how flirting with the universe is a fast track to abundance and feeling completely filled up and nutured in your life. You don't want to miss it, cutie pie.

The session was just about 16 minutes long.

I mentioned a few of the practices and ideas that you can use to shift into abundance and "enough" energy during the session and in today's email, but I forgot to mention some of the other things on my list that will help you stay in that space of pure abundance. As promised on today's live, I've included the list below.

Feeling abundant is really about DELIGHT. What makes you feel absolutely delightful? In the list below you'll find some examples of things that I bring into my own life as well as examples I've heard from clients.

This may be a handy list to print out and reference whenever you fall back into a place of lack. The bottom line is that you want to make sure you always feel taken care of and nutured. What does your soul really need to feel safe in knowing that it always has, is and will always have more than enough?

Here are some ideas...

1. Stay in gratitude: What you appreciate appreciates. The more you focus on what you have and what you want more of even if it's only in your imagination, you will get more of that. Look around your life and genuinely give thanks for the food on your table, the clothes on your back (especially those hot jeans that make your bum look fierce), and all of the love you have in your life.

2. Be generous: Being generous doesn't mean money, though it may. You can give of your time, resources, praise, love or energy. Leave a yelp review for your repair guy or your hair stylist. Shout people out on social. Go crazy with Likes and Comments and Shares. Give compliments to everyone. When you walk around with this energy, it's contagious. And very attractive.

3. Drop the judgment: Notice when you find yourself judging another person because they "have too much" or they are "greedy" or are wearing a $500 pair of shoes. It's none of your business. Keep the focus on yourself and remember you will never let yourself become something you judge.

4. Enjoy a beautiful sunset or sun rise.

5. Buy more plants to put in your physical environment.

6. Spend time in nature every day.

7. Set aside 20-30 minutes to read a good book (something you're not required to read or that has any particular purpose besides enjoyment)

8. Wear clothes you love and actually do your hair in a way that delights you.

9. Use your gold hair clip instead of the crappy plastic one.

10. Get up 20 minutes earlier in the morning so A. you're not rushed and B. you can savor some private writing time or a little bit of yoga or a meditation you've had on your list to do for months.

11. Call a soul-friend to check in and see how she's doing.

12. Paint your nails.

13. Play with your dog/ cat/ gerbil/ pig.

14. Take a long walk without your device.

15. Savor a delicious cup of coffee at your favorite coffee shop.


These are just some ideas... a place to start and get your "enough" wheels turning. Which one(s) will you choose today?

The list is endless and you can add to it any time you like. What else makes you feel alive/ abundant/ like more than enough/ delighted?

Wow! Today's session was a chakra-energizing buffet of delight.

One of the biggest LBs we have (and I use "WE" for a reason-- bc of the universality of these beliefs) -- is that we're broken. That something is just "off" inside of us. Innately damaged/ defective/ or wrong. That we are terminally unique in our inability to heal/ move forward/ figure shit out/ do life/ love/ etc.

This is a LIE, Karen.

If you're believing that, then YOU ARE BELIEVING A FLAT OUT LIE.

And the lies we believe about ourselves and the world are always backwards things our brain is doing to keep us safe and small. Our brain doesn't want us to go out and risk failure/ rejection/ embarrassment or judgment EVER bc that threatens our identification with our tribe. If we fail, we are ousted from the tribe. And if we are ousted from our tribe, we are alone in the world AND WE DIE.

That's what would have happened to our ancestors if they didn't have a tribe.

In our modern age, we may not die, but our tribal identity is still at risk. Our brain never wants us to lose our identity with our group or tribe or family because on some level, we die if we do.

So, this universal LIE/ Belief of "I'm broken" or "I'm defective" is so prevalent because it is guaranteed to keep you in your comfort zone (sabotaging through all of your "healing work" to fix the "broken" parts) -- which, in turn, actually keeps you ALIVE. (or so your brain would have you believe.)

IN OTHER WORDS:

If you leave your comfort zone, your brain says -- YOU WILL DIE.

If you don't leave your comfort zone, your brain says -- YOU STAY "SAFE" AND ALIVE.

And so, to keep you in your comfort zone, your brain makes up a bullshit lie about you being "broken" so that you go down a rabbit hole of never-ending healing modalities trying to fix a problem THAT NEVER EXISTED IN THE FIRST PLACE.

OMG DO YOU SEE HOW EASY IT IS TO BELIEVE YOU'RE STUCK WHEN YOU'RE BELIEVING THAT LIE???

Here's what I want you to know.

1. YOU ARE NOT AND HAVE NEVER BEEN BROKEN.

2. YOU WILL NEVER GET RID OF THE FEAR VOICES AND THAT'S OK.

3. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BELIEVE THE FEAR VOICES. JUST LET THEM BE AND MOVE FORWARD ANYWAY.

4. YOU'RE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE ME. YOU'RE GOING TO REVERT BACK AT SOME POINT TO BELIEVING THE LIE. GO BACK TO #'s 1-3 WHEN THAT HAPPENS.

You're enough. You're amazing. You're perfect. You're a divinely messy human (JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE, INCLUDING ALL THOSE SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE YOU ADMIRE) and that is AWESOME.

Keep going.

Isn't it refreshing to know that your fear is OK? That even after years of working on your business, your craft, your art... that you're still going to have nerves and that's OK?

I invite you to ease up on yourself and your fear today. It's all good. You're all good. You can move forward and have great success with fear and be fucking amazing as a whole, messy, imperfect, divine human. Really.

You don't have to be perfect. Even if anyone else ever told you otherwise, your imperfections and fears aren't what make you wrong. They aren't a sign that you shouldn't move forward or you're not ready. They're a sign that you care deeply about what you're doing and you should actually move forward.

You are ready now and I believe in you.
